Jean Barbara  Gilchrist (Joyce)
In loving memory of Jean Barbara Gilchrist (Joyce) who passed on November 11, 2017 at 96 years of age. Jean was born in Mount Albert Ontario. She spent numerous years in Toronto/Scarborough and 14 years in Kitchener at Trinity Village.

Jean is predeceased by husband George Gilchrist, parents, sisters Violet Haberle, Mary Joyce, and brothers Douglas, Elmer and John. Brother Paul surviving.

Mother to Jim (Diane), Alda Jean Marshall (Rick), Eva McDougall (Gary). Pre deceased by son Delmer (1980). Will be missed by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Jean is remembered for her positive nature, love of sewing and butter tarts which caused a stampede at family gatherings.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial get together will take place on at Trinity Village, The Gathering Place, 2727 Kingsway Drive, Kitchener on Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
